Why is Alexander of Macedon called “Alexander the Great” and the man who most successful in conquering the known kingdoms of the world? The answer is simple. Although today, after twenty-three centuries, no man has accomplished like Alexander. Alexander the Great, King of Macedonia, is one of the greatest military intelligence services of all time. Alexander was born in 356 BC in Pella, the ancient capital of Macedonia. He was the son of Philip, king of Macedonia, and Olympias, princess of neighboring Epirus. Alexander spent most of his childhood with his mother while his father transformed Macedonia into a large, powerful kingdom. Alexander's mother, Olympias, was responsible for guiding his formative years. Olympias told Alexander when he was a child that he was born to rule the world and that his ancestors were the goddess. In fact, it could have a huge influence on its success. Alexander used Bucephalus (horse) during the Asia Minor expedition and rode Bucephalus in most of his battles. King Philip hired the philosopher Aristotle to teach t. Over the next three years, Aristotle trained Alexander in philosophy, literature, science, and medicine. Aristotle gave Alexander the gift of a truly intelligent person that one could wish for. Alexander the Great's first battle took place at the Battle of Chaeronea, which took place between the Macedonians and Greeks. The battle led by King Philip and his eighteen-year-old son Alexander won the battle against the Poleis Greeks of Athens and Thebes. After the Macedonian defeat, they killed many Greeks and sold others into slavery. Athens therefore agreed with King Philip to release the prisoners and in return Athens surrounded the Macedonian (King Philip). When Alexander the Great was twenty years old, his father, King Philips... middle of paper ... of rank and distinction. And it definitely increases the hunger to win even if he mentions mercenaries. Alexander became a great orator to motivate his army to achieve what his father said at a young age. In conclusion, Alexander was successful in many characters. His mentor Aristotle had a great effect in the life of Alexander the Great. Aristotle thought of everything that was necessary in life, essentially Aristotle built Alexander. Olympias gives Alexander confidence and courage, telling him the whole great story of God and his ancestors (Hercules). Before a battle, Alexander sacrificed himself to God and respected me. Alexander, the grandfather, King Philip offered him manhood, allowing him to flee without fear and conquer the world. King Philip told Alexander that Macedonia was too small for him. All these three people contributed to the greatness of Alexander.
