Ever since I can remember, I have always dreamed of a career in medicine. I have always had a passion for saving the lives of others. Being a doctor was meant for me because I enjoy taking the time throughout my day to make a difference in people’s lives. I am willing to continue my education for an extended period of time just to fulfill my dream of becoming a doctor. Others want to become a doctor for reasons of money or prestige, I want to become a doctor to help sick people. My grandmother, who has suffered from cancer for 3 years, is recovering from therapy. Although she frequently has skin problems, doctors do everything in their power to help her recover. Her hair began to grow back and she returned to her normal self. This is one of the reasons why I want to become a doctor. When you are a doctor, people admire you when you are at your weakest.
