In “Dracula” and “Frankenstein,” evil is the basis of both novels. However, in the two novels, the evil displayed is different and has different intensities. In "Dracula", there are depictions of death and world domination due to the Count's evil aspirations and supernatural abilities, including immortality and his ability to create endless hordes of servants who will serve him in his evil plans. In "Frankenstein", however, there is only a sense of fear because there is a monster on the loose, but one who has no real chance of tormenting a nation as Dracula would have done in England without Jonathan Harker and Van Helsing. In "Frankenstein", the evil depicted throughout the novel is created from dead human body parts created to live by a sadistic scientist who thinks he wants to play God and create a new, beautiful species. In reality, you have to do use of a willing suspension of disbelief so that this novel even makes you raise an eyebrow "Frankenstein" is a very fictional novel and only contains slightly accelerated elements of fear because a monster has been abandoned and disowned.. ...
