    Abortion, one of the most controversial issues today, has become mainstream in the United States. There are many reasons to support the legalization of abortion. However, understanding medical information and perspectives on abortion can resolve this controversial issue. Contrary to popular belief that abortion is performed in an unsafe environment and carries potential long-term complications, abortion is actually performed by professionals and causes few complications if performed in a safe environment. the twelve weeks following pregnancy. First of all, abortion is a method of terminating a pregnancy using medication or surgery to remove the fetus from the uterus. It has always been a part of human culture for a long time. One of the most common reasons for abortion is that women who have children are young. Or, it's because of relational, academic, professional, financial problems. In the United States, the issue of abortion is extremely controversial and concerns not only the medical field but also the political and social fields. Defenders of life (illegal abortion) assert that: life begins at conception, the fetus therefore has the full right to live; abortion is a crime of murder; women should use contraceptives to prevent pregnancy; abortion increases the likelihood of future side effects. On the other hand, proponents of choice (legal abortion) argue that: women have the right to control their own bodies without interference; abortion does not kill a baby, but simply ends a pregnancy; Modern abortion is safe because it is performed by professionals in a safe setting; women who choose abortion do not have the capacity to raise children.
