Engineering is the study of science, economics and much more. Engineers take in other people's ideas and start building on them. They have the ability to take something that has already been invented and build from there to make it similar to the object already built and make it better. In engineering, there are four main disciplines which are: chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. Engineering has been around since ancient times. Since then, many great inventions have taken place. Many things that have been built or constructed in the world are the result of engineering. The four disciplines of engineering have helped many great engineers in their achievements. This is why these four major disciplines are very important for engineers themselves. There is an essential question: what do engineers do on a daily basis? What engineers do every day is work on the things they need to do in order to accomplish their task or achieve their goal. They go to work and sit there all day putting things into computers that can help them with what they're doing. All they do is work on the new ideas people give them. They can also take an invention and innovate from it and try to make that invention better than how it was built the first time. Engineers try to build things from thing to thing. they also build from their own things and when they try to build something they know more about an idea to try to make the next product better than the first. Architecture is an extension of civil engineering. It is an extension of civil engineering because civil engineering deals with the construction of roads, buildings, towers, etc. Architecture is the same, it is about the construction process. My selected achievements are highways. I chose this because success is linked to what interests me, which is architecture. Highways were built and expanded over time to make them bigger, longer, and taller. These highways were built to avoid traffic and not use local streets. They were built with good safety and diligence. The discipline most used in this achievement is civil engineering. Civil engineering is related to construction and this is how highways were built as well as architecture..
