    I have lived in India for 15 years, since my birth. I'm not surprised that I grew up in a rigid country. I was born in Patiala, a town in Punjab generally known for its ancient character. Although I was born in Patiala, my education was in another city close to my hometown. My town was small but had a diverse population. You could find all kinds of people there. The first few years weren't that difficult; I went to school and then came home.
