When we are having fun, time flies. On the other hand, when we have nothing to do, time hardly passes. A second seems longer than a minute, a minute longer than an hour. However, 10 hours only seems like 10 minutes when it's fun, when we're engaged in something we love doing. When we talk about a broader point of view we say that life is not short to live fully if we enjoy our life and still have millions of things we want to do but know we can't because that life is simply too short. But for someone who doesn't enjoy life or what they do at all, we are too afraid to live fully, life is too long. For these people, life could have been more fun if it had been shorter. Interestingly it seems they don't know that life lasts until you live, when you don't live you live like a breathing corpse. So it's not about living a life because for the wise, living is something totally different from staying alive. For them, life is simply too short to live. For wise people like saints who meditate isolated in the woods or people who create goals, targets they want to achieve....
