Benedict Cumberbatch (of “Sherlock” fame) uttered these lines while describing the character of one Stephen Hawking, an incredible human being. These words have been proven true (or) embodied time and time again by a number of human beings over the years, all incredible themselves; It's not a very large number, but it exists nonetheless! Over time, we have learned to use a specific term for all of these rather incredible human beings, that profound word being “HERO”. What comes to mind when you hear it? Maybe a Bollywood or Hollywood blockbuster. It turns out that this word has much more meaning than that and a certain American Joseph Campbell even managed to come up with a theory along these lines, namely "The Hero's Journey". In short, what the theory says is that there is a certain pattern that exists in a number of narratives found around the world, mostly in fiction and sometimes even the stories of our real world heroes seem to follow exactly the same model. I don't think there could be a better real-life example of a hero right now than ours, now official, "Bh...
