The academic achievement I am personally most proud of is being accepted into the Burton Specialty Center engineering program. It has been my goal since fifth grade to get into the engineering program, and I am very happy and proud of myself for putting in the effort to get accepted. My mother first told me about the Burton Specialty Center after I attended a program. at Virginia Tech called Kid Tech, a program for children ages nine to twelve, specifically designed for children interested in science and engineering. I loved it so much, and I did it for two years. After my freshman year, my mom tried to find programs similar to Kids Tech and discovered Burton's engineering program.
