  • Essay / Use Money Wisely to Gain Morality - 1064

There are many ways to use money. Two examples are spending it on yourself or spending it on people who aren't as fortunate as you. In Luke 16 of the Bible, Jesus mentions how to secure your future without being controlled by money. By using money wisely, you can gain trust as well as good morals. You can secure your future life by making friends who can help you get out of difficult times. You can save time by using money correctly and not be corrupted by greed for wealth. You can also save money by learning not to create money for a "god" if you idolize materialism. Luke 16 also mentions a poor man named Lazarus. People like Lazarus still exist, and with each passing day they struggle to survive. We can help ourselves by helping others who are in need. Wealth can corrupt anyone and that is why we must use it carefully. Money can be used for beneficial purposes or for selfish reasons, corrupting good people or helping people in need. How we use our money affects those around us, either positively or negatively. If you use your money for yourself, what do you get? You end up with excess clutter that builds up and gains dust. But on the other hand, you have the latest iPhone that all your friends are raving about. Where will this phone be in five years? How about two years? Is it really worth spending all that saved money on something that won't be used in a few years? Loat mentions in "Shred as Snakes" that money can be used in two ways. “We are on ourselves and we end up with a lot of things that are ultimately not very important. The other is that you can use it on people who are in need around you for the sake of the people who are suffering. (Loat 383) Ha...... middle of paper ...... generous, ready to share (1 Tim 6:18). (Heap 1) Whether it's buying coffee to keep them warm in the winter or handing out food, every penny positively helps someone in need. Money affects everyone. Whether it is used for your own benefit or that of others. Luke 16 gives two examples of how money can affect people in negative or positive ways by corrupting their souls or securing their future. Donating, feeding, sheltering or clothing the poor are all positive ways to spend money on others to help someone in need. It could be a close friend, a relative, or a stranger who is someone in need. If you are able to spend your money wisely and not greedily on yourself, when the time comes that you need financial help, someone you have helped in the past could save your future. Every day, you influence those around you by the way you spend your money, positively or negatively..
