The leader has a charisma that induces determination and confidence in followers. The leader proposes meaningful and challenging tasks to instill a sense of accomplishment in followers (Avolio & Bass, 2002). Inspirational motivation helps build team spirit and followers demonstrate passion, positivity and optimism towards the company's goals. The first two components of transformational leadership, idealized influence and inspirational motivation, are often combined to form a form of charismatic and inspirational leadership (Bass, 1998). Interactive communication is also a very important part of the inspirational motivation journey, as it helps a leader communicate their expectations and guidelines and demonstrate their vision.
