Love is Essential to Survival Many historians believe that fire was the most important discovery in all of prehistory. In fact, they are wrong. If there had not been another discovery much earlier, the fire may never have been discovered. The most important discovery was love. A lot of people said, “How do we know if they liked it?” I can only prove it by the fact that they survived. Without love there would be no reason to live. There must have been, and now must be, love to keep a person alive. I can't pretend to know what early humans loved, whether it was hunting, food, or even the love of life itself. What is the most common thought after a person loses everything they love? Often, suicide is the first thought. The force that stops some is that they found something to love or remembered someone who loved them. Imagine a web extending from a person, connecting them to the things they love. However, once the strands are cut the person is no longer stable and finds themselves falling, it is now that survival is at stake.....
