Essay / Google Glass is an example of faulty technology
When you think of technology, you will think of how great it is to exist in a world full of technology, or how great technology is in all its wonders . You imagine what the next technological breakthrough would look like or feel like. You probably won't be able to imagine the next technological breakthrough because it's already great as it is. Well, I'm sorry to say that technology isn't all cupcakes, rainbows, and hugs. If you are a technology lover, please ignore this article. Read at your leisure. Additionally, I would like to clarify that I am not anti-technology, but simply presenting this other side of technology. The side that is full of flaws that become means of ruining human life and the world. Today I'm going to talk about a new device called Google Glass. The all-new Google Glass is a one-of-a-kind headset that is underdeveloped. It is a computer optical device, in which it is a computer in front of your eyes like a pair of glasses. . Its goal is to bring the virtual world back to reality and try to merge the two different worlds. For example, you have a GPS in front of your eyes as you maneuver through the world. Another example would be to open the barrier that prevents family and friends from seeing what you see on your side of the world; you can video chat and let them see what you see without having to carry a smartphone, tablet or laptop. It certainly looks amazing and reminds you of all those sci-fi movies where the characters use optical computers and do amazing things with them. In reality, Google Glass could pose a threat to human life. This opens a frontier to human rudeness, loss of interaction, and a more dangerous world. Human rudeness, we've all been there. There are people who are just in the middle of a paper. All that being said, the world simply isn't ready for Google Glass. For Google Glass to make an appearance, we would need a lot of restraint and self-driving cars. Now, I'm not trying to say that Google Glass should stop being underdeveloped, or seeming anti-tech. I really love the idea of Google Glass; I just don't think this is the best time for Google Glass to hit the markets, and ultimately the hands of many different people. If only people (myself included) would show more restraint and be better than this, maybe Google Glass could fit into our lives better. Perhaps these dangers would never exist if our nature were never as it is. If we showed more restraint, I think this world would be a much safer and better place. We can then become better people for each other, for ourselves and for the world..
