The modern classroom does not need to radically transform to accommodate linguistic intelligence, because the traditional classroom format involves lectures and reading assignments, but the addition of teacher-student discussions changed the class structure. Today's classrooms go far beyond linguistics. The discovery of visuo-spatial intelligence transformed the classroom a little more than linguistic, visuo-spatial intelligence opened the mind to the possibility of educating someone using the environment around them . Someone who learns best using the visuo-spatial intelligence based format learns best in a classroom that includes lectures, pictures, and puzzles (multiple intelligences). The modern classroom now includes more activities that challenge an individual's mind, such as a United States world map puzzle. With the puzzle, the student is able to learn more about the topic at hand, but also research the information themselves, as opposed to a teacher giving them information to study. Logical-mathematical intelligence also works well in a similar classroom environment. People with logical-mathematical intelligence enjoy using the logical information they have been given to solve clues, puzzles, and everyday situations (Multiple Intelligences).
