    If you go online, to a place where children gather, or to a school today, there is a 90% chance that you will witness a form of intimidation. As times have changed over the years, so have the types of bullying. It's no longer just children who insult each other. It became more violent, physically and verbally. The bullying has grown over the years to the worst it has ever been; whether in person or online, it has become too dangerous. Before technology became a huge part of everyone's lives, bullying only happened face-to-face. Outside of school, people didn't really have to worry about bullying. It wasn't as big a problem as it is today. In fact, the only places they had to worry about bullies were the places where all the kids spent their free time and at school. School was the main place this happened. Today, tyrants are everywhere. It has become more dangerous today than in the past. The name calling and being shoved into your own locker is all that really happened, but now there are fights, name calling, harassment, etc. Times have changed radically. Things are no longer as simple as they used to be. Technology has helped our world progress, but it has also made some things easier that shouldn't be. Electronics have given people new opportunities to torment themselves outside of school and out of the public eye. Cyberbullying is defined as the use of electronic communication to intimidate someone. The Internet has never really been considered a safe place, especially with the inventions of social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
