    What would the world be without the inventions and ideas of the 1920s? The answer is that no one really knows; However, inventions and ideas born in the 1920s are used more than ever today. Along with the technological advances made in the 1920s, the invention of radio, television, the automobile, and other minor advancements made the 1920s one of the most important decades of the 20th century. The 1920s brought many technological advances that allowed Americans to be entertained at any time. House; radio was one of them. Radio was actually developed before the 1920s; however, it was banned during World War I and allowed to reappear after Prohibition ended in 1919 (Events 72).
