  • Essay / My Role as Nelson Mandela - 727

Nelson Mandela firmly believed that everyone should be treated equally. Additionally, he was famous for promoting a message of forgiveness and equality. Mandela encouraged people to be kind and treat each other equally. This is perhaps the major lesson Mandela gave to the world, despite being locked up for 27 years under an atrocious regime. He might have walked out of prison a bitter man, but as he once remarked, "I knew that if I didn't let go of my bitterness and hatred, I would still be in prison." ยป Nelson Mandela's message will not disappear. It will continue to inspire freedom fighters and give confidence to people in the defense of just and universal causes..
