Since my childhood, I have been passionate about making a remarkable contribution to the betterment of humanity and making the Earth a better place to live for all. world. Since I was a child, I always wanted to be a healthcare professional and my father encouraged me a lot. I remember when I was in 6th grade, my teacher asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and why? I answered “A Dentist because it is a profession mixed with ART, SCIENCE and MEDICINE”. I still remember the look on her face, she was surprised, maybe because she didn't expect that kind of response from a young boy. I started working towards my goal, after getting good grades in grade 10, I worked hard for two years in medical subjects, passed my state common entrance exam and I got admission in a reputed dental institute in my state. I completed my Bachelor's Degree (BDS) in March 2014 from NTR University of Health Sciences, a renowned university all over India. I worked hard during my 5 years of course and performed well in studies and extracurricular activities like various competitions and seminars, cultural music and sports, etc. I have also attended various conferences on health programs organized by IDA (Indian Dental Association). In my 4th year, I conducted an awareness program to educate PERIODONTAL patients on the occasion of WORLD HEALTH DAY (April 7). I developed a great interest in periodontics, I learned the importance and scope of the subject. I undertook a research program on CHLORHEXIDINE CHIP IN CHRONIC PERIODONTITIS, this led me to become interested in the study of periodontics.
