An elementary school teacher lays a student's educational foundation through leadership and commitment, and to do it effectively, time and patience are a necessity. First, a teacher must be involved in students' learning by inviting them to share their thoughts, opinions, and ideas, while actively listening and providing feedback. Additionally, peer interaction should be encouraged to complement the course material. Finally, teachers must explain concepts in depth and adapt to each child's learning style, while encouraging students to imagine new ideas and think outside the box. After completing the material, performance should be assessed to determine mastery of concepts and evaluate teaching methods. Psychology then becomes relevant because a teacher must have a sense of behavioral management and know how to deal appropriately with emotional problems. Understanding the learning styles and psychological issues that can affect a child's ability to learn is necessary in order to address various issues as they arise, thereby managing and maximizing each child's learning potential. Behavioral management is essential for a teacher because behavior problems can be a problem if left unchecked. ; Misbehavior is usually indicative of underlying psychological problems and can interfere and hinder the learning of all students. Thus, understanding behavioral management can help resolve the aforementioned challenges. For example, if a student has a behavioral problem and has frequent tantrums that disrupt class, his or her ability to learn may be hindered. Teachers should emphasize the importance of students developing goals, beliefs, and attitudes so that their ability to learn is maximized. Primary school teachers should frequently praise the young student's efforts, this helps to build the student's confidence and abilities. These students are willing to learn something new, no matter how difficult it may be. It is mastery-oriented students who are most likely to develop independent learning and sustained involvement in achievement activities. The focus of motivation is on identifying strategies that develop mastery goal orientation in students and relate to all aspects of learning and classroom organization ("Houghton Miffilin," 1997).
