    This paper will analyze how does the generational gap affect our work? When people think about the generation gap in the workplace, three questions tend to come to mind:1. Is there a difference between the qualities of the work performed?2. Is there a different sense of loyalty to employers?3. Is there a difference in motivation to complete the work? Along with analyzing these issues, this paper will also address the negative and positive aspects of the above three issues. (Carebridge Corporation, para. 1) produced a document that Princeton University published for its HR staff that "there are four, even five generations working side by side in workplaces of today: • Veterans (born between 1930 and 1945) • Baby boomers (born between 1946 and 1964) • Generation X (born in 1965) -1976) • Generation Yers (born in 1977-1990) • Millennials (born 1991 to present)"These five generations will be part of the discussion in this article and, for the purposes of this article, Generation Yers and Millennials will be grouped into discussions. First question that will be analyzed, are there Is there a difference between the qualities of the work performed? And does one generation work more than the others? The qualities of work can range from communication, computer and problem-solving skills to teamwork. organizational and planning matters (skills and personal qualities sought by employers). Let's analyze the strengths and weaknesses of each generation when it comes to quality of work. We can then determine if there is a difference in the quality of the work performed. Veteran workers are team players and very effective at verbal communication.
