Teenage PregnancyOver the past decade, there has been an increase in teen pregnancies all over the world! More and more young adolescents aged 13 to 19 are having children out of wedlock and well before they graduate from high school. This has been a global problem over the years. A show was even created to show all the difficulties young adolescents encounter when having a young child. Most teenage girls don't know the real issues and conflicts that can arise when they become pregnant at a young age. Otherwise, there are a few things that can prevent pregnancy: the male condom, the pill, the vaccine, a patch, an IUD, etc. Some people think that they will not get pregnant if they have their period or they pee right after or shower but it's wrong! Contraception goes back a long way. “The ancients swallowed potions to induce temporary sterility; they used linen, wool, or animal skins as barrier methods; they fumigated the uterus with poison to prevent it from carrying life (Fradd.). Even back then, they tried all kinds of methods to prevent a woman from becoming pregnant and/or STDs...... middle of paper ...... lasting harmful effects, both psychological and physical; this detrimental problem must be eradicated. Teenage pregnancy is not acceptable and should not be tolerated. Hopefully, by studying cause and effect, a much-needed solution can be discovered and implemented. Of the three solutions studied, the most logical and feasible solution is abstinence, as it is the safest way to avoid any bad ideas about sex. If something doesn't change, there will be more girls without education and raising a child alone. A solid remedy can be implemented to put an end to this very serious problem. In conclusion, stay safe, stay happy and enjoy life as it should be. Don't let society fool people. Have fun, you can have fun and be safe at the same time, gender is not important. Don't let a child be on your to-do list or failure list.
