Every time I had to go to the bread basket, I dreaded it. I didn’t dread the work or the people I was helping. I only dreaded it because I was tired. However, it made me realize that I'm not spending enough time or energy on people who need it. As I move forward in my life, I hope I can become more generous and less judgmental. I should not assume that just because someone is in a bad situation that they are putting themselves in danger. I should not assume that hard work solves everything. However, I realized that I am an extremely hard worker and will help others in need no matter how tired I am. I would just like to help others more voluntarily than for a grade. As a teacher, I will help my students and my community and try to become more open-minded to different and diverse situations, and not just assume the worst.6) Are you considering using the service learning when you teach?
