Google Inc was founded in 1998 by Stanford University graduate students Larry Page and Sergei Brin. While studying at Stanford, Larry and Brin designed a search engine named Black rub and after two years they changed the name to Google Inc. Google, Inc was established on September 7, 1998. Google Inc started operations for the first time from a friend's garage in Menlo Park, California. Craig Silverstein was the first employee hired by Page and Brin who later became the chief technology officer of Google Inc. In 2000, the company replaced Yahoo's in-house search engine during its startup. providing additional search result for Yahoo. Currently, with a surplus of around 50% of the total search market, Google offers search results not only for its search engines but also for different search engines present on the web. Today, the company provides a surplus of 50 different Internet services and products, some of which are email, cell phones, etc. In 2012, the Google company made a success with Motorola Mobility which took its position in the hardware sales market in the type of cell phones. The company having a large collection and a wide range of products places it in the list of the four most powerful companies in the technologically advanced market, alongside the companies Apple, IBM and Microsoft. (MEDIRATTA, 2007) Google also offers an educational compensation plan in which the company will pay up to $8,000 for an employee to take work-related courses at an outside university. The company also offers employees up to 5 years of leave, granting up to $150,000 to any employee seeking additional full-time training. (Staïb, 2008)
