The overall scene lasts about ten minutes and shows Tony walking towards the apartment, tying himself up with his accomplice who followed him, and watching that accomplice get murdered in front of his face while Tony waits anxiously for his friends to show up and show him . ...... middle of paper ......mily to watch the movie increases. In short, this film is the dark side of the American dream. Brian De Palma did a great job creating memorable scenes, like the scene explained above and the famous ending with Pacino reciting "Say hello to my little friend." Throughout the film, some confusion is created due to frequent slip-ups, but overall the theme is consistent and remains consistent thanks to a strong cast. Al Pacino was undoubtedly the main star of the film and it probably wouldn't have been as successful if another star had been given his character. It's hard to see anyone else playing Tony Montana after Al Pacino's performance. This film, although full of violence and crime, foreshadows moments of humor and controversial situations. This is a momentous film created in the 80s and is still considered a classic gangster film by today's generation..
