Problem of expired products in Tesco shopping centerProducts in poor condition or almost expired. (Quality Management) First of all, people are becoming more and more careless and may even forget to take care of their personal health and safety. For example, one might not be careful enough to buy an item (food) in good condition in a shopping center, Tesco. Therefore, they might fall into the “trap” of purchasing expired food or almost expired products, which can be categorized as the quality management problem in Tesco Malaysia. Poor quality products can lead to many harmful consequences after consumption. A problem will arise that will affect both the customer and the mall owner. The problems faced by the customer who ignorantly purchased spoiled products or food can lead to food poisoning, nutritional value and change in taste. Raw meats and eggs are the usual suspects when it comes to food poisoning, but any expired food can lead to growth of the bacteria which can lead to foodborne illness. Products in poor condition that can cause dangerous illnesses have occurred. For example, food poisoning occurs when consumers consume dangerous bacteria that can grow more easily on expired foods. This is more likely to happen with perishable foods like beef, chicken, eggs, and prepared foods like macaroni salad or potato salad. When it comes to nutritional value, the nutrition a person gets from an expired food is much less than that from fresh foods, even if the food label indicates that a food is very nutritious. Additionally, even though expired foods you eat are safe to eat, they may not taste as good as if you had eaten them earlier. Over time, the quality of the food decreases...... middle of paper ......n while doing the process. The team should always double-check before letting products put on the shelf for consumers. In order to avoid packing the product incorrectly, the packaging team can arrange similar products accordingly. This could prevent packaging employees from packing wrong products and resulting in an unmatched product in the box. Furthermore, the Tesco company owner should apologize to the public through mass media due to their unforeseen problem and promised to rectify the following incident. this will help restore the reputation of your company. In this way, the company will gain the support and trust of its customers. Steps must be taken immediately to respect the customer's right by replacing all defective products with fresh, good quality products. This will definitely help in minimizing the problem occurred.
