Employee Satisfaction Survey AnalysisThe issue of increasing employee turnover has been a matter of concern for ABC International. The human capital department reported a large increase in employee turnover over the past year and it was decided that the best approach to solving this problem would be to first conduct research. A secondary step would be exit interviews completed within the last three years. Using these two pieces of information, ABC would be able to analyze and get an overview of what separated and current employees think about different aspects of the company, such as compensation and benefits, career advancement, training and education, etc. The top three reasons why employees voluntarily resign from their positions are dissatisfaction with management (including policy administration), compensation and benefits system that is not sufficiently competitive and the perception/feeling of lack of career advancement. In order to identify areas where employees feel the company is lacking, an employee satisfaction survey was designed. The employee satisfaction survey was designed to ask what employees think of the services offered by the company, ranging from services offered by the human resources department to management compensation and benefits. This cross-sectional research gives the human resources department insight into what current employees think of the services the company offers them. The initial survey was designed with thirteen questions; each of which will collect quantitative or numerical data. For example, to evaluate the performance of the human resources department, the survey asks the employee...... middle of paper ...... we need to survey the employees and we can measure the effectiveness of the investigation. The next step after the mock survey would be to distribute these forms to all employees and solicit their participation. In response to a serious problem of increasing employee turnover, ABC decided to conduct a company-wide survey that would measure employee participation. satisfaction with the services, services and management of the company. If properly designed and conducted, the employee satisfaction survey would provide invaluable information to the human capital team, which would reveal areas that require attention and improvement from the company in order to combat this alarming number of employee turnover.ReferencesCooper, DR, Lind, DA, Marchal, WG, Mason, RD (2003).
