    Throughout human history, people have had a lasting impact on their field of study and even on the entire world. Two of these people are Charles Darwin and Steve Jobs. They are among the most influential innovators and thinkers of their time. Charles Darwin, an English naturalist and geologist, revolutionized science by creating his theory of evolution by natural selection. Darwin's theory has affected religion, modern science, and all of human understanding of the natural world. Steve Jobs, co-founder and CEO of the famous electronics company Apple, had a lasting impact on the technological world. The many innovations in employment have mainly affected technology and certain aspects of society. Although both men made major contributions to their fields, Charles Darwin was more influential and had a greater overall impact. Charles Darwin was born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire in England in 1809. As a child, Darwin was fascinated by nature. At university he abandoned his medical studies and became interested in natural history. He took part in the voyage aboard the ship Beagle which circumnavigated the world to collect specimens. This ultimately sparked the creation of his theory of evolution by natural selection and the writing of his famous book On the Origin of Species. Steve Jobs was born in Los Altos, California in 1955. After leaving college, he began working as a video game designer. designer for Atari. During his work, he renewed his friendship with Steve Wozniak. Together, they built their first computer in Job's family garage. Soon after, Apple Corporation was formed and named after Job's favorite fruit. As Apple I, Apple II and Macintosh were released to the public, the company gained popularity through middle of paper...... electronics and software company in the world. Darwin was more influential because he touched more areas and revolutionized human understanding.
