Social Media MarketingThe form of marketing that provides worldwide interaction between the business and its stakeholders and customers through virtual networks and communities is called social media marketing . Nowadays, with the help of social technologies, information is distributed without boundaries or content constraints. People want to share and exchange their experiences and knowledge online, which marketers see as a great opportunity to build relationships with their consumers and raise awareness of their business on a larger scale. However, there are opponents who see the considerable disadvantages of this new marketing platform. These disadvantages are: loss of time, intrusion into privacy and risk of criticism. In my opinion, although social media marketing may have some reasonable mishaps, businesses should use it because with a deliberate marketing plan it brings many benefits. both for the brand and for its consumers. First of all, among the disadvantages for the company is its time consumption. Running various consistent social media programs and keeping people interested at all times can be difficult. Moreover, by devoting a lot of productive time to it, marketing takes risks, because there is no single tool capable of measuring its effectiveness (Sharma, 2013). However, such an argument is not sufficiently conclusive. Although it requires a lot of time and effort, there is one huge advantage to social media marketing: a low cost of entry, which particularly benefits small businesses.
