My short-term goal, to be achieved within this year, is to finish my first year of school with good grades and debt-free. This will help me succeed by giving me a sense of responsibility and independence. If and when I finish this year debt-free and with good grades, I will have done it myself. I motivate myself and help my mother by winning scholarships and not making her pay for my studies. My second goal is my long term goal. Currently, I plan to transfer to Sam Houston State University and obtain a teaching degree there. Then, shortly after, I hope to teach young children in an elementary school. I know there will be times of struggle, but I am determined to achieve all my goals.
