These three laws are the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Act, and the Fair Housing Act. Although these laws are in force, racial discrimination has still not ended. The electoral law gives everyone the right to vote without discrimination. Obama's election has raised hopes that racial discrimination no longer exists and that the three laws work. However, the challenge to Obama's citizenship has proven that US policy is discriminatory. The fact that after Obama's election began to challenge his American citizenship proved that they wanted him out of the elections. The election law was in effect, but they simply ignored it and started attacking his citizenship.
