Is the increasing pressure in today's school systems creating a generation of future adults who succeed in the job market or Are we facing countless gaps including school dropouts, drug addicted adults and psychologically affected students? Although many students emerge from high school and college unscathed by the potentially enormous pressure placed on them to meet certain standards, many fall victim to idealistic expectations. Considerable pressures have led to the development of substance abuse and, in some cases, addiction among many students, as well as mental and psychological disorders and academic dishonesty. Although minimal problems may be caused by the students themselves, many problems encountered come from external sources, such as parents, teachers, and peers. However, the greatest stressor in the lives of high school students has been clearly identified, as the negative results displayed by their students have garnered recognition from educators. Although 15% of teachers said their students felt more confident and 28% said their students were better prepared to learn, an overwhelming 61% said their students felt more anxiety and 24% said Teachers said their students' overall self-confidence had taken a turnaround. the worst (Jones). Despite the small number of educators believing that stress had led to positive outcomes, teachers' claims of negative effects on their students prove that rising standards and the effects that accompany them are undoubtedly evident.
