  • Essay / Researching a career in computer animation - 1176

I am looking for a career in computer animation. The reason is that I like video games and it's one of the many things computer animators do. There are also many career opportunities. The career has been around for a while. The movie and entertainment fields started a few years ago, but the field I want (video games) started with pong. At the time, all games were arcade games, but then the Atari 20 was invented, which made way for future consoles like the Xbox 360, Play Station 4, and Nintendo 3DS. Today, around 79,000 people work in computer animation, and it is estimated that around 90,200, give or take, will work in computer animations. These people work in various forms of computer animation, from a fun Disney Pixar film to a very violent, bloody, brutal film. You must be 18 years and older to play a video game (like Dead Space). Employment for this career requires at least a bachelor's degree in computer animation and design. You can find a job at any of the major movie studios like Pixar, or you can find a job at a video game studio like Bethesda Softworks. As a computer animator, you are expected to use a computer to create a 3D model, then animate that model by making it move. This can be seen in every Pixar movie. Also in most films that needed the help of CGI to create a reality that was impossible to see. The specific duties of an IT animator vary depending on a few factors. These include where you work, what you do and how you work. Hours are usual from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. I didn't find anything unusual about this job.☺For this job, there are no gender restrictions, no racial restrictions, and very minor age restrictions. Most jobs prefer workers to be at least 21 years old to work there, however,...... middle of paper ......uff. After researching this carrier for two weeks, I still want this job. Reasons include that the pay is good, I really like this carrier and many more. Plus, I've wanted this carrier for a long time now and decided to stick with it. I count on this career for the fact that there are already so many people employed in this career, and the fact that it is expected to increase significantly is impressive. Plus, this career seems like a lot of fun. There are some things I don't like about this career. For example, you have to go to college, you also have to work and does anyone actually want to work all day for a living. I mean why can't we all just sit on our butts playing video games all day being lazy, oh well. Anyway, this job has disadvantages, like you won't be doing very sporty things, so if you don't train at home you might gain a little weight..
