Heritage Foundation is an influential organization that has promoted policy in the United States for many years. The foundation is funded by direct mail to donors. A large private and public cooperation has financed the courses of the organizations for many years. Presidents of the United States have worked with the organization to promote their policies within government. The Heritage Foundation is highly valued by the government due to its conservative nature towards public policy. The Reagan administration borrowed its foreign policy from the founding. The George Bush administration borrowed its domestic policy from the foundation. Through its publications, the Heritage Foundation tends to promote its policies to the population, thus influencing its long-term performance. Recently, the foundation has been in the spotlight for its promotion of economic freedom within the Obama administration. The organization is also known for its advocacy for the elimination of corruption and policies that negatively influence the public. President Clinton's health plan borrowed its basic principles and policies from the Heritage Foundation.
