  • Essay / Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet - 1637

Shakespeare's Romeo and JulietShakespeare's Rome and Juliet is the tragic story of two star-crossed lovers whose lives end tragically. In this assignment, I intend to explore the question: "Who is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet?" » Many characters may have helped or hindered the situation between them. The social context that forms the backdrop to the play and the parental expectations of each noble family will be explored as this mission develops. The feud between the two houses, Montague and Capulet, is the basis of the entire tragedy and is most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The quarrel was the scene of tragedy. Without this, Romeo and Juliet would never have had to keep their marriage and love a secret. The feud prompted the characters to express their anger towards their enemies, which resulted in fights that ended fatally and these deadly fights led to the fatal deaths of Romeo and Juliet. During the play, Benvolio often appears as the peacemaker. We see this early on when he tries to stop a fight between the servants of two families in Act 1 Scene 1, “Partfools.” Raise your swords, you don't know what you're doing. » He only fights when attacked, “I only keep the peace. Raise your sword, or succeed in separating these men from me. At the beginning of the play, because of his nature, he persuades Romeo to organize the Capulet party to take his mind off Rosaline. “Compare his face with some that I will show. And I will make you believe that your swan is a raven,” he said to Romeo. It was thanks to him that they met. Even if he had good intentions, it was middle of paper... there was no feud between the families, maybe they would have never met or hated each other or n 'would never have lived happily ever after. Maybe if the families we were great friends with would have been forced to marry and committed suicide because they didn't want to get married. I believe that all of our lives as individuals would be different if we came from a different background, a different place to live. or a richer environment. I also learned that arguments should never last long. One party must have the maturity to attempt to make amends and, if that fails, have the maturity to leave the situation and let it die down. There should be no harm in trying to fix the reason for the quarrel in the first place. This is why I believe in "forgive and forget", because in the end people will be hurt because of their immaturity..
