Behaviorism and learning come under behavioral psychology. Essentially, it is about how our behavior results from stimuli from the environment and from ourselves. Behaviorism is based on the belief that behaviors can be measured, trained and changed. Learning is the lasting change in behavior that results from experience. As we learn, we change our environment, the way we interpret incoming stimuli, and therefore we interact. Behaviorism, also known as behavioral psychology, is a learning theory based on the idea that all behaviors are learned through conditioning. Behaviorists believe that our responses to environmental stimuli shape our behaviors. Interviewee: Ms. Maria. She continued, “If I deal with kind clients, they try to understand me and accommodate what I want and I end up finishing my work with a nice ending. With bad clients, they are fickle, unprofessional and indecisive. But in my business, I just try to adapt and be patient. In my job, I just learned to be patient and know how to deal with different types of people. San Lucas has learned to be patient with different types of people. When it comes to behavior, Ms. San Lucas has learned to adapt to different types of customers. I try to avoid being unprofessional. » Regarding behaviorism, Mr. Tunez meets different clients with different personalities and she adapts to each of them to maintain that professionalism. She changes and somehow adapts to them. Even though she has to deal with unconsiderate and sensitive customers, she still tries to be polite and kind to everyone. Despite their unpleasant behavior, she still manages to put on a constant face of diplomacy and kindness when dealing with them.
